ADT Always There
If an ADT alarm is triggered it will alert one of our Alarm Monitoring Centres. Once the alarm is confirmed (we filter out false alarms), we will contact you, your nominated keyholders and/or the emergency services. The monitoring option you choose with your home alarm system determines who we contact in case of an emergency (see table below).
Looking After Your Alarm
You, your family and home’s safety in mind is at the core of our service promise to you. Routine maintenance of your alarm is included in the monthly charge.
- ADT is committed to responding within 4 hours if there is a fault that prevents you from using your alarm.
- Remote repairs by our specialist online technical team means we can usually fix 70% of faults within 17 minutes without the need and disruption of calling out an engineer.
- Where a fault cannot be fix remotely, the online technical team will diagnose the problem which means that when our engineer arrives (1 of 2,000) he is more likely to resolve the problem there and then!
- ADT central systems regularly check that your alarm is working, checking not only your alarm but the phone connections as well to ensure that everything is fully operational and has not been tampered with.
- We provide regular full inspections of your alarm to ensure that it is working as it should be; for your additional peace of mind.

However, the ADT QuickConnect Fire package offers more; should you be overcome with smoke, or away from home when fire strikes, we will alert you or your nominated keyholder and the fire service. ADT QuickConnect Fire incorporates all of the benefits of the standard package but with an additional smoke detector.

Our pets make great companions. However, they can also set off movement detectors when they move about the house.
