ADT Officer’s sharp eyes lead to arrest

While returning from a false alarm activation at a client’s premises, ADT Reaction Officer Patric Sebesho fortunately decided to use a different route back to his park-off point and
stumbled upon two suspects.

The suspects were inside a suspicious vehicle when he initially drove passed. Feeling they may be up to no good, Sebesho decided to turn around and called for back-up. As he cautiously approached the vehicle, one of the suspects got out and ran. He then followed the second suspect still in the vehicle who was heading towards a shopping centre.

He managed to apprehend the suspect and hand him over to the Garsfontein SAPS. “Vigilance and being pro-active certainly acts as a crime deterrent in an area,” says Clive Humphrey, Managing Director of ADT Northern Region. “I congratulate Officer Sebesho on his efforts and professionalism.
