24 hour Control Rooms

At the heart of ADT’s Armed Response service are our high tech, regionally situated control rooms, which support a national fleet of over 680 vehicles. Our control rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art digital voice recording equipment that ensures constant communication between control room staff and patrol officers.

Response Vehicles

ADT fits GPS Live Tracking into all of our vehicles. This means we can send the nearest Armed Response vehicle to any call or emergency ensuring the fastest possible response times.

Other Patrol Services

ADT guarantees dedicated Armed Response 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and also offers a range of related services. These include a rendezvous service to accompany residents safely to their front door, special attention calls for those alone at home, house visits and check patrols during family holidays, and a full 24/7 paramedic back-up via europ assistance as a free additional service for all ADT clients.

All of these benefits and services apply for both business and residential customers.

Guarding

ADT Security, in association with BEE partner Kusela Security Solutions, provides comprehensive guarding services to the corporate, commercial and industrial sectors. CCTV

Localised Security Schemes

Localised Security Schemes or LSS (in some regions known as Community Security Schemes) are an innovative neighbourhood security solution pioneered by ADT.

LSS provides a proactive, highly visible security service geared to meet the unique safety requirements of individual communities. By working in partnership with area committees or Neighbourhood Watches, ADT is able to design a security service which effectively reduces the presence of criminals and potential crime in any community.

ADT Security’s LSS options are varied and tailored to suit the needs of a specific neighbourhood or community.

With hundreds of Localised Security Schemes in place nationally, the LSS model has proven to be an extremely effective deterrent to would-be perpetrators and has had a significant success rate in reducing crime wherever implemented.

All ADT LSS patrolmen are given dedicated LSS training, and are backed up by ADT’s 24/7 Armed Response.

Localised Security Schemes typically consist of one, or a combination, of the following services:

• Access monitoring
• Dedicated bicycle or foot patrols
• Dedicated Armed Response vehicles
• Strong ADT/Neighbourhood Watch signage and presence
• CCTV at key neighbourhood access points

Together these act as a major deterrent and offer an immediate response to crime.
