Visibility of the Chiltern Hills community in Westville has been given a welcome boost following a donation of signage from a private security company. Fidelity ADT sponsored new signage that has been erected at a busy intersection in the area.
The donation was made in collaboration with the local Westville North Cowies Hill Projects (WNCP) team. WNCP member, Ronald Clancy, thanked Fidelity ADT for their generous donation and support. “On behalf of the Westville and Cowies Hill community I would like to express our gratitude for the donation of the new signage. This sign not only promotes our WNCP group and the service we offer the community but will also serve as a deterrent to would-be criminals within the area.”
The signboard donation follows the Special Response Unit (SRU) vehicle that was launched earlier this year. The SRU is a dedicated vehicle that exclusively responds to suburbs within this area.
“We are proud to have been able to further assist the WCNP community by donating the signboard in Alistair Road. An increase in visibility will assist in keeping criminals at bay as signage makes it clear that the area is monitored with armed response on a 24 hour basis,” says Fidelity ADT’s Community Development Manager, Lee Munsami.
