As 2018 is fast drawing to a close, one of South Africa’s largest private security companies has wished the people of Port Elizabeth everything of the best for the New Year, and thanked them for their support during 2018.
“Our team have been involved in numerous community initiatives over the past couple of weeks, reaffirming their commitment to keeping the residents of Port Elizabeth safe and secure this festive season,” says Ryan Britz, Port Elizabeth branch manager at Fidelity ADT.
“We realise the importance of supporting our local crime fighting community based Neighbourhood Watches and Community Policing Forums. We aim to support these entities by sharing crime related information, donations, regular meetings, collective visibility drives and other investments.
“Our Community Information Centre (CIC) serves as the cornerstone in this regard and we have experienced another successful year through this unique innovative security solution. The CIC is based at our Port Elizabeth offices and is operated by our in-house agents who addresses all community related concerns” says Britz.
Fidelity ADT has shown their support over the past few weeks following the donation of six Neighbourhood Watch signboards, Christmas goodies towards the Frail Care Centre in Lorraine, a blood drive in collaboration with the SANBS, a visibility drive with local authorities in Summerstrand as well as awards donated towards the top patrollers at the Lorraine Neighbourhood Watch.
“All these initiatives are part of our philosophy of providing an inimitable service offering towards our Port Elizabeth communities. We not only aim to assist local crime fighting initiatives, but also focus on entities that rely on donations such as the Frail Care Centre,” Britz added.
The private security company was recognised by the Lorraine Neighbourhood Watch after receiving a Certificate of Appreciation this month. The Port Elizabeth branch also walked away with a Gold Award at the recent Fidelity ADT national awards which placed them as one of the best performing branches in their category this year.
Britz was very grateful for these awards and thanked his Fidelity ADT team.
“These awards and acknowledgements makes all the hard work and commitment worth it. It celebrates the efforts of a very determined team here in Port Elizabeth, and we are delighted with these achievements. The certificate from the Lorraine Neighbourhood Watch in particular means a lot to our team and we look forward to an even better 2019.
“On behalf of the entire Port Elizabeth team – I wish everyone a wonderful and blessed Festive Season, and everything of the best for 2019.”
