One of South Africa’s largest armed response companies has recently unveiled new, more robust armed response vehicles for the Plettenberg Bay area. It comes on the back of other technological improvements for the Garden Route, such as a network of CCTV cameras in areas including George and Pletteberg Bay.
“We want to make sure that we continuously upgrade our service offering to the Plett community, which is the main reason why we deployed these new vehicles,” says Fidelity ADT’s Garden Route branch manager, Steven Green. These new vehicles were officially introduced to the area last week and have been operating since the start of October.
“Our vehicles make use of an automated dispatch system which cuts back substantially on our response time to incidents. The stronger vehicles will also improve our accessibility to rougher terrains, and assist in keeping our customers and the Plettenberg Bay residents safe,” says Green. He thanked the company’s customers, and says their continued support made this new deployment of vehicles possible.
“I urge residents to get in touch with our local branches to find out more about our CCTV and response vehicle investments in Plettenberg Bay. I also salute our partners in the police, PBCPA and local neighbourhood watch groups, who continue to work with us in driving crime out of the area. As a team, we can keep this beautiful town safe for everyone who lives and works here.”
