The annual Sharks Fun Day took place on Saturday, 19 January at Jonsson Kings Park Stadium. The day was packed full of activities for Sharks supporters of all ages including jumping castles, food stalls and live entertainment. Local radio DJ’s kicked off proceedings by introducing the Sharks players and mascots to the fans.
The Shark’s Fun Day catered for the whole family and was a great success. “The Fidelity Security group has worked closely with the Sharks Rugby Franchise over the past few years and we appreciate the opportunity to be part of initiatives such as this. We believe that this remains a mutually beneficial partnership and we look forward to rolling out many more exciting initiatives with the franchise this year,” says Fidelity ADT’s District Community Development Manager, Rian Buys.
Fans had the opportunity to get their Sharks merchandise signed by this year’s Super Rugby squad members and took part in a few competitions, including the chance to win a signed Sharks rugby jersey which added a lot of excitement to the day.
As one of the main sponsors of the Sharks rugby franchise and to show their support, the Fidelity Security Group hosted an activation stand at the event, providing an ideal platform to engage with the community and discuss security matters. Fans were also treated to free popcorn and slush puppies from the Fidelity ADT stand.
“These events are ideal for fostering relationships with the general public, generating new business and most importantly listening to the voice of our customers. This initiative was a wonderful success and we would like to thank all the organizers for such a wonderful event,” Buys added.
